We’ve put together a quick look at the additional services you might need to ensure your move and using our self-storage goes as smoothly as possible.
Whether you’re moving house or changing business premises, you’ll need to have a good clear out to decide what is going into our storage units and what is going to the new building. There are packing services available that can do all the hard work for you. Whether you hire someone or do the job yourself, be as ruthless as you can with your belongings, especially if you’re downsizing.
Ask if you really have the space for everything you own. If you don’t, our weatherproof, secure storage units do.
It’s worth investing in good quality moving and storage boxes, especially if you’re going to be travelling over a long distance. Take the time to compare products between firms: more boxes for less money might be financially attractive. However, if they turn out to be flimsy and easily damaged, it could be a false economy in the long run.
Aside from plenty of strong boxes, we strongly recommend investing in good quality bubble wrap for your delicate or valuable items. It will not only protect belongings that are likely to be in transit, but it’s also great for long-term self-storage too.
Although our container units are weatherproof, a little dust can get in over time, especially if you visit multiple times.
